Dora Jamerson Carroll

Dora Jameson Carroll, 94, of Asheville, died Monday, April 28, 2014, at the Western North Carolina Baptist Home. A resident of Asheville for sixty years, she was a daughter of the late William Horace and Nola Jane Buckner Jamerson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Carroll, and a grandson, Billy Joe Carroll. Mrs. Carroll is survived by her sons, Bobby Carroll and wife Mildred, and Billy Carroll and wife Mary; ten grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday in the Patton Ave. chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mark Penley officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hills Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
