Donna M. Young Teague, 48, of Asheville, left this world to be present with her Lord on Thursday, September 7, 2017, following a brief illness. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Miranda Teague and Meredith Teague; mother, Mary-Ellen Miller; father, Lawrence Young (Regenia); sisters, Jan Curtis, L. Lisa Young, both of Asheville; brother, Roger Young (Krissy), of Weaverville; step-sister, Vicki Miller Stocks, of Georgia; step-brothers, Jeff English (Anna), of Weaverville, Ron Miller, Jr. (Brenda), of Georgia; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Jody Medford, Apryl Fox-Carpenter; and too many other friends to name. The funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. with the Rev. George M. Davis officiating, followed by a receiving of friends. The graveside service will be held on Monday at Leicester Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Chad Ellege officiating. In lieu of flowers, her family respectfully requests that donations be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

  15. There are no words to express our shock and sadness at Donna’s passing. I have many childhood memories of family get-together’s and Mark’s school days included classes with Donna. Such a sweet soul.

  16. I was so saddened to hear of Donna’s passing. We’ve known each other for half of our lives in school. We were in home room together in high school. She was always a joy to be around. I know your family is hurting right now, but just know that your Mom will always be watching over you, and that she’s spreading her wings. Donna was always so sweet and caring and I’ll never forget she gave my oldest son Jordun a bear at a basketball game, she was always wiling to snuggle and love on him! I pray the Lord wraps you sweet girls in his arms and carries you through this time..Love to all
