My heart goes out to you at this difficult time. Please accept my deepest condolence’s.
I remember Debra Sue fondly from high school. Although I have not seen her for many years I know that she was a gentle, kind and loving soul. She will be greatly missed. But, now she can rest sweetly in the arms of our loving Lord.
I am truly sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. May you find comfort in Gods promise to soon ‘swallow up death forever’ and to ‘wipe away the tears from all our faces’ (Isaiah 25:8)
I grew up with Debra Sue and went to school with her. I just want the family to know that I will keep you in my thoughs and prayers at this most difficult time.
Oh Debra Sue…I just asked about you just weeks ago…we had lost track of you!!! I wish I had gotten one more chance to hug your neck!! I always loved and admired your strength and your beauty. Your absolute will to live life to the fullest no matter what came your way! I will never forget your smile and your laughter!! You were indeed a precious angel. You have no idea how many lives you touched. You will be missed…
It seems like yesterday that Tim and I was fishing almost everyday down on the river after school. We all were so close back then. I remember how Debra Sue would buzz by our home on Old No. 20 in her VW Beetle. So many wonderful memories we had! I sure miss my best friend Tim and now, even tho I haven’t seen you in a while I will miss you too! But I know for sure that you, Tim and my dear sister Pat will be having a wonderful reunion! I love you Debra Sue! I will be praying that God will comfort you all during this time.
I also grew up with Tim and Debra Sue. She was so beautiful and dear. She was always smiling. She hurts no more. She is worry and pain free. Rest my friend you fought a good fight!!
Bettie & JV,
May you find comfort in knowing that she is in the presence of greatness now and able to walk and talk again with pain. I remember her when I was a child with her long black hair. So beautiful and always lady like. I know you will miss her dearly and now will be able to rest yourself but that will be hard to do. I do not believe that I have ever seen a mother and father care for a child the way you took care of her, seeing you all over at Golden Living when we would go see Patty all the time. I pray that you both find peace in knowing you did all you could for her with her having that deadly disease she had. She has her brother with her now and they will be waiting on their mom and dad now.
I will always remember Debra Sue smiling with those beautiful blue eyes and heart shaped face–and her huge crush on Tim Fore when we were at West Buncombe Elementary School! My love and sympathy to you, JV and Bettie. She fought the good fight and she has won the race. EW (Beth Sluder)
Tim and Debra…. I almost never heard one name without the other. I remember how kind and sweet each of them were in high school. There was a mutual admiration between them both. I am sure they are rejoicing with their reunion and in the presence of JESUS.
I am so sorry for your loss.
Kind regards,
Jodie Hall LaCoursiere
