Born June 15, 1949, Danny celebrated his last birthday on Father’s Day with his family. He was a native of Buncombe Co., and was a son of the late Jack P. Green and Annie Crisp Green. He was also raised by his grandfather, the late Harley Green. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary Dillingham.
Danny loved his family very much. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Brenda Rathbone Green; daughter, Teresa Dillingham (Mark); grandson, Gabriel Dillingham; and sisters, Jackie Kitchen (Mike) and Kay Quesinberry (Gene).
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Road. The Reverend Jack Ward will officiate. Interment will follow at Berea Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
