Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I am in my 70s now and when I think of the giants of Asheville businesses when I was growing up I think of Hoyle’s Office Supply. Those were the days when a handshake meant something and we weren’t so tangled up in technology but more of the human touch. A life well lived for Mrs. Hoyle. She and her husband were a vanishing breed. My deepest sympathy to her family and friends. Gerry Huntley in Fairview.

  2. Christine i miss you so much!! Have a lot of wonderful memories of you.We sure built some good ones!! Kathy,Tommy and Jimmy thank you for letting me be one that helped take care of your Mom. I will alway’s cherish my time with her. May God Bless and watch over you all until you see her again…..Love you all. Mary Hensley.

  3. What a blessing it was for me and my children to get to know precious Christine Hoyle! I will always be grateful for her loving kindness and joy when we would visit her. Thank you for sharing her with us! We will always cherish our time spent talking with her and her sweet smile and hugs!

  4. I met Mrs. Hoyle a week before her 100th birthday when I visited her with her nieces Doris and Sally who are my cousins. She was such a gracious host that day and so charming, seeming much younger than her almost 100 years. I know all in her family will truly miss her. I pray that special memories will comfort each one.
