Chloe Lilly Riddle

Chloe L. Riddle Winston-Salem, NC ~ Chloe Lilly Riddle, 94, formerly of Asheville, died Monday, April 14, 2008 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. A native of Yancy County, she was a daughter of the late Grover and Ethel Robertson Bailey. Chloe was a member of the Pinedale Christian Church in Winston-Salem. She is survived by two daughters, Doris Combs of Winston-Salem and Claudia DeJong of Greenville, SC; two sisters, Irene Riddle of Arden, NC and Linda Rut-kowski of Garden City, MI; three brothers, Reece Bailey of Burnsville, NC, Ben Bailey of Greenville, SC and Harold Bailey of Asheville, NC; five grandchildren, Sandra James, Karen McKinney, Brenda Hurst, Teri Martin and Shannon Sims; five great-grandchildren, Candice James, Ashley Hurst, Mandy Hurst, Alyssa Hurst and Travis McKinney and one great-great-grandchild, Logan McKinney. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian in Arden, NC. Burial will follow at Calvary Episcopal Churchyard. The Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. The family requests memorials be made to the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
