Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Daddy Day’ as his family called him, was the best example of a grandfather anyone could ever have. When I think of him, I thank God for the family that I come from. He established a wonderful foundation for his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
He has left behind a wonderful legacy. He will remain with us always and we will strive to make him proud.

  2. I only knew one of my grandparents and he died when I was 6 years old. Having known Mr. Day for the last 25 or so years, I share the love and respect his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren have for him and have also experienced the love and respect he had for his family and friends.

  3. My grandfather meant the world to me and I know there will not be a birthday, muchless any other day, that I will not dream of sharing it again with him. He was my buddy and he would not put it any different if he were here. I know that one day I will see him again but it is just so hard that I never said good bye.

  4. Daddy Day’ was my grandfather whom I loved dearly. He was a very special human being and a very special person in my life. I think of him oftenand smile when I think of the many experiences we shared together. He had a profound impact on my development as a person. He taught me the value of hard work and the importance of family. I know that one day we will be united again and, when we are, I plan to give him a big bear hug and a great ‘thank you’ for all the lessons I’ve learned from him.

  5. The best memories I can remember are,
Hugging him for 10 whole years and knowing him.But we know that
he is in heaven with GOD and his brothers and
sisters and his parents. And his granparents and
GREATGRANPARENTS. If I could sign a contract
to live 95 years and eat like he did I would do it right
NOW. I hope I can live that long and be as a good as
    a person he was. Sincerely,
    Charles Thomas Day IV

  6. Daddy Day was the BEST person I knew. I wish
he was here for Christmas but he is having a better
time up in heaven instead of opening presents with
us. I will miss him very much.
