Guestbook

  2. So sorry to hear of Mr. Hardwoods passing. I grew up at 51 Mildred. I remember him walking up the street and always had a big smile and a friendly hello. My mom and dad always talked about what Good People the Hardwood family was. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
    Sincerely, Paul Ownbey

  3. I am married to Linette, one of Ray\\\’s daughters for 45 years. Ray has been my loving Father In Law and he and I had many great time and conversations together. I will miss him.

  4. Linda & Lynette: We are so sorry to hear of your Dad\\\’s passing. I had heard they were in a Nursing Home. Your Mom and Dad were a big part of our growing up on Mildred. I am thinking of you two as you go through this time. Pat and Fred

  5. As friends, we have seen the love and care given to you, the family of Ray Harwood, returned to him gently and with tenderness in his later years. We trust your hearts are at rest and that you can remain one in spirit with him as he joins all those who have gone to Heaven. We share your loss, and offer our love and support at this time.

  6. Dear Linette & Frank, Please accept our sympathy in the passing of your Dad, You two have set an example for your children and many others who know you in honoring your parents as we were taught. We know you find comfort in the knowledge that your Dad is now in a place of eternal joy. Sincerely,

  7. No one knows how much I miss my Daddy. I did not know how much I loved him until I realized that he was slipping away. My Daddy was honest, hardworking, dependible. We always knew where he was. He was true to my mother for more than 70 years and he did the very best he knew how to do for us. He was a very intelligent man, but his shyness kept many people from knowing this. He was a child of the depression and that had a great impact on him. He had a great work ethic. He never had a credit card and only in the past few years had a checking acccount. He did not buy what he could not pay for in cash. He loved animals and was very faithful in feeding many stray ones and caring for his own until his health prevented him doing so. He read a lot and kept up with all the news. He loved working crossword puzzles. He had many hobbies and was well known for his amateur archaeology contributions in several states. He had articles published in several journals. I will miss him very much for the rest of my life and look forward to seeing him again one day.

  8. Dear Frank and Lynette:

Just learned of your Dad\\\’s passing. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers and we send our sincere sympathy to all of you.
    Love and Prayers,
