Charles Peaslee Parker

Charles Peaslee Parker, 88, of Fletcher, died Saturday, November 12, 2022 at The Lodge at Mills River.

Born in Northampton County, NC, he was the husband of Mary (Howell) Parker of Fletcher, and the son of the late Eulas and Beulah May (Elliott) Parker. He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Edward and J.P. Parker, and two sisters: Shirley Parker and Edith Bishop.

A talented woodworker, he was of the Methodist faith.

In addition to his wife of 64 years, he is survived by a son, Chuck Parker of Fletcher; two daughters: Missy Holland (Tim) of Fletcher, and Susan Parker of Norfolk, VA; three grandchildren: Courtney Manzer (Oliver), and Erin and Bella Holland; and one sister, Judy Wanfried.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Grace Independent Missionary Baptist Church, Asheville. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be private.

Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.
