Anne, I am so very sorry for the loss of Chuck. I can’t imagine how your heart hurts. You and Chuck were like peanut butter and jelly, I admired the love you two shared. I feel so blessed to have known you both. I will always have warm memories of Chuck. He was truly, a great man and will be missed by all. My prayers and love are with you, during this very difficult time.
From 2 years old to 70 best friends. All the shenanigans, adventures, memories. All the mutual visits over the years. From fort building to parasailing, Brothers in service. All the Dover street happenings. These will all help to ease the tremendous sorrow I feel right now. After our last farewell, I will bid you to rest in peace. When my time comes, I will be there standing at your door chanting “Chuuuckieee”
All my deepest condolences to you Anne, and te entire Batherson family, I will always feel part of your family
Chuck was a wonderful baker, who loved sharing his breads and sweets with his church family. Rest in the arms of your Savior, dear friend. ✝️
Condolences to Anne and extended family from us all in Judique, Nova Scotia.
So very sad to hear about Chuck’s passing. Lisa and my sympathies and prayers are with you. Wish we could be there for the funeral but we’re on a cruise.
Anne and family, while I never had the privledge of meeting Chuck, I had many electronic communications with him. He always was prompt to reply and make it easier to use the electronic system here at Kenmure. This may not seem like a personal touch point, but he was always prompt and accurate on his responses. He was much appreciated for what he did and I wish to extend my deepest condolences to your family for your loss. In Christian sympathy…KL

Take care,
Chuck’s passing was was depressing to me. I operated his railroad for many years in
Greensboro and always admired his creativity and abilities. Chuck was always courteous
and understanding when we made mistakes on the railroad. I hope time heals this
tragedy for Ann and their children and I will always cherish the good times and fellowship we had
operating his challenging creation in Greensboro
Anne and the entire Batherson family,
My heart hurts for you all at the unexpected passing of Chuck. My condolences to you all.
Fair winds and following seas shipmate. You stand relieved.
Chuck and Anne went from complete strangers that we met our first time at Grandfather Mountain Highland Games. We had just moved to Greensboro from California and were still house shopping while living in a camper. A couple of months later Hurricane Florence hit and our camper was in the shop. In step the Batherson’s who invited us into their home and made us family. We will never forget you, brother, and we will keep an eye on Anne for you. Keep the slushie machine going for us when we get there! We love you
We were shocked to find out about Chuck’s passing today. Wyatt is in the Engineer’s in Training program that he ran. Wyatt adores EIT and considered Mr. Chuck a friend. We will certainly miss him and all he did for Wyatt and the other kids. We are so sorry for your loss.
