My sympathy goes out to the family. She was a good friend and neighbor. Charlene was a sitter for my daughter before and after school. I shall always remember her sweet smiles.
The memories and love Granny has left me with will always travel with me. I love you, Granny, you have been the single most important model for my life.
Granny Baird will be missed. I have very fond memories of wonderful meals, lots of playing, and lots of love.
I spent summers in Candler when I was growing up (across the street at my Grandparents-Ann and Jerry Israel). I have many fond memories of Charlene. She was tough…with a heart of gold. She was always the first to offer support or lend a hand. I had many conversations with her that I will cherish always.
Charlene…you are loved and will be missed more than you will ever know.
P.S. Will you please give my Grandma a hug for me.
