We mourn the lost of High Vista’s true gentleman and good neighbor.
Betty and George Chittick…you are in my prayers.
I am sorry to hear of Cecil’s death. His father (and Faye’s) was my grandmother Mary’s brother. I enjoyed hearing their stories at our Roberts Reunion about the Roberts Family during the early 20th century.
May you find comfort in your memories of him and his service to his country and the community.
Betty and the entire Robert’s Family
So sorry to learn of Cecil’s death. Cecil and my Dad, James Hutchison were classmates in the Class of ’43 at Lee H.Edwards High school. Please know that others care and share in your loss. Well done, though good and faithful servant.
Betty, Derrick and Family, I was so shocked to read of Cecil’s passing. My heart aches for you. He was truly the sweetest man. I loved that he was still.playing golf at his age. His stories he told me were awesome. He will be missed. God bless you all during this difficult time. Betty if you need anything please let me know.
I first met Cecil while attending Vance Elementary School in West Asheville in the late 50s. I had fallen in love (still am) with his oldest daughter, Pam. Cecil epitomized a hard working man who loved his family and demonstrated how to live a life with integrity. A life well lived. I know he will be missed. My deepest condolences to Pam, Cindy, Betty and the entire family.
We will always have fond memories of Cecil from our early days at High Vista.
Your entire family is in our thoughts and prayers.
To Cecil’s Family,
I was blessed to have worked with Cecil at Allstate in the early ’70s alongside Ben,Don, Dave, Carl, Morris, Steve, Jim, Helen and others. After leaving to start my family I often would visit with them and share laughs. I thought of him through the years and extend my most sincere sympathy to each of you,
