Cathey Bishop Greenway, 52, of Swannanoa, died Monday, March 2, 2015, at the Elizabeth House.
A native of West Asheville, she was a daughter of the late Euel and Nellie West Bishop. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Bishop.
Mrs. Greenway is survived by her husband, Tony Alexander Greenway; a daughter, Shelby Clevenger and husband Alex; a son, Chris Bishop and wife Carey; and siblings Sue Jones, Pat Cothran, Jean Cogdill, Bob Bishop, Linda Effler, Betty Cannon, Alice Webb, Randy Bishop, Larry Bishop, and David Bishop; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Greenway was a loving wife, mother, sister, and aunt.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday in the Patton Ave. chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with Mr. Brandon Fore officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
