When we worked together at Western Zirconium I came to know him from the first day he interviewed and we were off and running on such a great friendship. I worked for him as a supervisor in the Maintence Dept and while he was general manager. I’ll remember all the conversations we had and great advice he offered when I needed it or just a moment to listen. What a wonderful man, I’ll miss him greatly. ! Our prayers are with you.

  19. I had the opportunity to work for Carey at WZ, Columbia, SMP and Windsor. What a Rock he was , and he stayed the same no matter what title he held. I was stunned when I heard he was so sick and heartbroken when I heard he passed, we were born in the same year, he was way too young to go, but God must have needed him for a different assignment. My deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers to Karen, Carey spoke of you often. He was my smoking buddy and we laughed and joked around and always discussed business improvements. He was an original, one of a kind and he will be truly missed by many! May you RIP my friend.
