Carolyn Teague Clark, 68 years old, of Leicester, a very dear and beloved friend to all who met her, died Saturday, November 7, 2015. A native of Buncombe Co., she was a daughter of the late Dennis "Boots" Teague and Bessie Freeman Teague. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Sherrill Grady Teague. Mrs. Clark worked for Square D for twenty-six years. Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Jerry Clark; brother Tommy Dale Teague and wife Darlene; sisters Ruby Teague, Sheila Teague and husband Larry Fowler, and Wanda Ball and husband Larry; very special nephews Dustin Teague and Chris Clark; nephews Kevin Clark, Dylan Brown, Daniel Lewis, Morgan Moore and Dawson Moore; nieces April Teague, Sheena Sutton, Crystal Clark, Kylee Lewis, Robin Brown, Jennifer Moss, and Haleigh Teague; special honorary son Jesus Flores; and 4 special honorary grandchildren Jesus Junior Flores, Juan Manuel Flores, Mauro Flores, and Guadalupe Flores. Graveside rites will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Cross Rock Baptist Church Cemetery in Little Sandy, with the Rev. Bud Marler officiating. Anyone wishing to attend graveside rites will be welcome. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.

  1. What a precious angel…. I was her nurse at Asheville arthritis for her infusions. She was a great person. She will truly be missed. Blessings to the family during this difficult time.
