Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My heart goes out to the family. The Edwards were neighbors and friends in my childhood. She was a dear sweet soul. Even in her later years I would send greetings through her daughter Sally. She always seemed to remember me. Our lives are better that she passed our way.

  2. Martha,Sally, and BettyRoss,
It was always such a joy to see Mrs Whiteside and talk with her about the Lord and greasy beans. She was and amazing lady with three equally amazing daughters. It is our honor and pleasure to have known your Mom. Sending our sympathy and prayers to you all.

  3. So sorry for your loss. Betty was a neighbor for years and I always enjoyed talking to her on my walk around the circle. She was such a beautiful person in appearance and personality. You all are in our prayers.

  4. Dear Family,
When I moved onto Brucemont Circle in 1989, Betty was the first neighbor to welcome me. She was such a dear lady. I’m very sorry for your loss.

  5. Sending our love and prayers to all of Betty’s Family. You are in our thoughts during this time sadness. What a wonderful and glorious life Betty Lived.

  6. Hello Sallie and family,
How blessed I am to have known your Mama Betty! I am so thankful for the precious memories I have from when my little grey poodle, Levi, and I would visit her at Brooks-Howell. Oh, how she loved dogs and I am thankful I got to share my little one with her, and while with her, I got to hear so much about her wonderful children and grandchildren. You all were so loved and I pray her greatness lives on through each of you.

  7. Dear Sallie and family,
It was great to work with Betty many years ago. I was the Secretary in Henderson
County. After the meetings we always went out for lunch. In later years some of the former
leaders would get together at A Day in the Country for lunch and fellowship. We always
enjoyed our times togetbher. Cherish her memories.

  8. Dearest Sallie, Betty Ross, Jack and Martha,

We are so sad to have just realized that precious Betty Ross had moved to her Heavenly home on the most perfect of days – Resurrection Sunday, as we read the bulletin this morning for the Service at Central. We know how truly loved and cared for Betty was by all of you and that she is now bathing in the face to face love of our Lord.

We and all of our family will be lifting each of you up in prayer and in these crazy days for special strength and peace as you grieve and deal with all that losing a loved one entails.

Needless to say, we would be honored to be of any help to each of you and the extended families.

    God bless you all,

    Bill and Alice
