We had the pleasure of meeting Barbara (aka: Ma’ma) back in 1997 when Markus and I just move to Asheville from Charlotte. We were out house hunting and met this wonderful, outgoing lady named Barbara who gave us the scoop of the neighborhood. We knew at that time, we had to be Barbara’s neighbor. She became a second mother to us and later Ma’ma to our children. We will miss her dearly!!
