  3. She & I were 1943 High School Classmates, and have known her ever since that time. I frequently talked to her at First Baptist, and met at our Reunion Dinners. Her Classmates will miss her, as will I, I will meet her family tomorrow, and will assist with the Service, providing the Sound in the Chapel. May God be with them during these days.

  4. We were saddened to learn of Barbara’s death. We have lost a very dear friend. Our sincere sympathy and prayers to each of you.

  5. My son went to First Baptist CDC in the 90’s and Mrs. Barbara was his favorite teacher. She loved all the kids there and you could really tell it was not a job for her but her calling. I know you all will miss her but just know she is good now and is taking care of the little Angels in heaven.

  6. Becky and Steve & Family,

My thoughts and prayers will be with you tomorrow. Barbara loved all of you, and she knew how much you loved her. You have so many happy memories.
Wishing you peace and comfort during this most difficult time.

  7. I just adored Mrs. Hensley. She was a bright light for the children at First Baptist. My son would just run to give her a hug. She always saw the best in everyone. Barbara will be missed but what a legacy she leaves!
