Barbara Anne Morton, 84, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Mission Hospital. She was born to the late Rudolph and Evelyn Wieland in Miami, Florida, in 1941.

Barbara graduated from Miami Jackson, and worked with her husband at Morton Insurance, Mortgage and Real Estate in Miami, Florida. Among many things, Barbara enjoyed going to the beach, sewing, shopping, and most of all, reading the Bible.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ronald Morton; daughter, Pamela Dover (Charles); brother Tom Wieland (Beth); grandchildren Lauren Anne Wardell (Nate) and Dexter Gleason (Colleen); and great grandchildren, Maizy Jean Wardell, Madelyn Wardell, Emerson Rose Gleason, and Maddox Gleason, all of whom she loved very much.

Services for Barbara will be Private. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.
