Atlas Fox, 85, of Fletcher, passed away Friday, March 13, 2026.

A native of Ankara, Turkey, she was a daughter of the late Ali Vural and Nimet Arkan Vural and was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Richard Fox, who passed away in 2002.

A Funeral Service will be held at 5:30 PM on Friday, March 20 in the Chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian in Arden. Her family will greet friends at the funeral home immediately following the service, until 8:00 PM. Burial at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery will be private.
