  10. Words cannot express the emptiness I feel in my heart over the loss of my dearest friend. Nothing I have ever experienced comes close to the pain I feel over the hole that is left in my heart. I will always hold close the times we have shared together. How honored I feel to have stood by your side as you gave your heart away in marriage to my dear friend Mark. He deserved only the best and he found it in you. I will cherish the memories we all shared together. Your love of life and love of the Lord would shine in everything you did and everyone you met. You have touched so many hearts, and I can only hope to become half the woman you were. I will always smile when I think of your laughter and your amazingly beautiful smile. I will miss you terribly.

  26. To Ashley’s Family,
My deepest condolences on your loss. No words can express how much Ashley touched each and everyone she came in contact with. She was a ‘true’ and ‘genuine’ person. She always had a smile and even on your lowest days you walked away with a smile on your face when Ashley was there. She loved life and you knew it. She will truly be missed by all. She was a great Hairdresser, Friend, Wife, Sister, Daughter.
Debbie, your relationship with Ashley reminds me of the relationship I have with my daughter. I can only imagine how you feel. My daughter and Ashley were just discussing her ‘future’ wedding the last of June. Again you are in my thoughts and prayers and may God give you guidance.

    Pam and Heather

  27. Mark and Family-
There are no adequate words at a time like this. Please know that I’m praying for all of you, and that if you need anything at all, I’m available. I will miss Ashley’s radiant smile and fantastic sense of humor, but most of all, I’ll miss a true friend. May God give you strength and peace in the coming days, weeks and months.

  28. Debbie, Mark, Alan, DJ,
My heart is deeply saddened to learn of Ashley’s untimely death.
How wonderfully blessed you were to have lived each day with Ashley! Her bubbly, vivacious spirit, her obvious love and compassion for family and
friends were always a welcomed assurance each time we met. Ashley hugged me upon my arrival and hugged me again when I left! She was always so positive about life and a great encourager! We shared many wonderful ‘talks’ and I know that she loved me as much as I loved her! Often we reminded each other to keep one another in our prayers (and I know she did, too!). I felt quite privileged to meet Mark on one of my visits with Ashley, having heard so
much about him and how in love they were. And on another visit, I met Mark’s mother, Nancy. Ashley always spoke about her family with such love and appreciation. She was never shy about her love for and faith in Jesus Christ, either! Oh, so many lives were touched by this one. Debbie, no doubt you and Ashley enjoyed a very special bond. She always spoke so lovingly of you. She was so proud of your accomplishments and enjoyed the
    opportunity to work with you.
My prayers and thoughts are with you all during this most difficult time.
Thank you Dear Father for your peace and comfort now upon this precious family. May Ashley’s spirit live on in the lives of those she touched.

  29. I’m deeply regretful to hear of Ashley’s death. I know there’s nothing that I could possibly say to ease your pain, just know that if you need anything, I’m more than happy to do what I can. You all will be foremost in my thoughts.

  98. Debbie, Alan, and D.J.
I just heard of your tragic loss a few hours ago. I haven’t seen Ashley in years, but she was one of my dearest friends in middle and high school at Owen. We also spent lots of summers together. I am deeply saddened to hear of your loss, and regret not spending more time with Ashley. Words can’t express what she meant to me. She was such a wonderful and caring friend. She will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
    Sincerely,
    Tony and Lori Martin

  99. Debbi,
I don’t even know where to begin. It has been truly a blessing to have gotten to know you & Ashley the past 3 years. She was such a beautiful girl & was such a joy to be around. I loved coming to my appointments to see her smiling face & to talk all of our ‘girl’ talk. Ashley was more than my hairdresser, she was my friend. I will have an empty place in my heart that only she could fill. We had so much in common, but one of the biggest things was our love for our families, especially our moms. I know that Ashley thought the world of you as I do my mom. You two reminded me of me & my mom so much. You are such a wonderful lady & you raised a beautiful, caring daughter who will missed so much. I love the both of you. God has gotten one of the best!!!!!
This is such a hard time for everyone that was touched by Ashley but I feel better knowing that we have such a wonderful ‘angel’ watching over all of us now. I will keep you & your family in my prayers. If there is anything that I can do please don’t hesitate to call me. And to Ashley- I can’t not imagine my world without you in it. Every hair on my head is gonna miss you – you were the best. But my heart is going to miss you the most… I LOVE YOU GIRL!!!! And I can’t wait until I get to see you again in heaven…….

  100. Mark,
At a time like this there are no words to ease the pain. God told us there would be times of sorrows. The wonderful news is this life is temporary and someday we will all see Ashley again. I will be praying for you and your family.

  101. Mark
May God wrap angel wings around you for comfort. You know I would do anything to help.

I was so saddened to hear about Ashley’s death. I worked for an AVEDA salon in Asheville and had the pleasure of taking some color classes that she taught. She was incredible and very much loved by her clients, as well as her friends. It was such an honor to have had the chance to meet her. You will be in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time.

  115. To Ashley’s family:
We were shocked to hear of Ashley’s tragic death. We still do not want to believe it. We were lucky enough to be clients of hers for the last 4 years. My 3 year old son and I were able to see Ashley on July 1st for hair cuts after just moving back to the area from Charlotte. She will truly be missed as she was the best hair dresser and a wonderful person to be around. Our prayers will continue to be with you all.

  116. Our family loved Ashley. She was such a friend to Julie and directed her toward a career in cosmotology. Ashley was a caring and giving person. She placed the feelings of others before her own feelings. Know that God has Ashley. She is not forever gone from us. Her spirit is very much with the Lord, and I pray the Lord keeps all of her family throught this time. God bless you all.

  130. Allen, Debbie, DJ, Mark, And Family
My heart is broken for the loss you have experienced. Ashley was the kind of woman, daughter, wife, and spiritual person everyone inspires to be like. She has made an impact on me and every person who was lucky to have met her. This loss is hard to understand the meaning of it all and I hope God, family, and friends will help carry you through these hard times…We are all blessed to have been touched by such a beautiful angel…

  131. Mark –
You have many friends at ClientLogic who are praying for you and for Ashley’s family. I hope you can all find comfort in the precious memories you have of her.

  133. To Ashley’s family,
You are in our prayers during this difficult time. May God wrap His loving arms around you and console you as only He can. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain of losing a spouse or child, but the only piece of mind would be to know that you will all be together with Ashley and Our Heavenly Father for eternity, for Jesus said:
‘There are many rooms in my Father’s home, and I am going to prepare a place for you.’ John 14:2
    John, Tosha, Jonathon, and Abigael

  134. Mark, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I hate that I never had the chance to meet Ashley personally.

    Isaiah 51:11
Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

We must resist sorrow and grief and ask for God’s peace and comfort when we face loss and heartache.

I will keep your family in my prayers.

  135. Mark, Debbie, Alan, and DJ:
We will always remember Ashley in our hearts and minds. She was always and will always be Aiden’s ‘Aunt Ashley’ and Sarah will forever think of her as a sister. We will always remember weddings made perfect by Ashley and Valentine’s Days with Aiden at your house. Mark, you both played a very special part in Aiden’s life, and Ashley will always be remembered. We are always here for all four of you, and are only a phone call and two streets away.
With Love and Prayer in His Name,
    Chandler, Sarah, and Aiden

  136. Alan and Debbie,
I am having such a hard time accepting this. I cannot imagine the depth of your grief. My heart aches for you.
Ashley was one in a million. I will miss her so much.

  137. My deepest and most sincere sympathies to Debbi, DJ and David. Although it has been years, Ashley is one of those people I remember very fondly. She was one of the most beautiful women I have ever crossed paths with, inside and out. Most of all I am praying for Debbi. I know that you and Ashley shared a bond most people never experience. What a beautiful girl we were all lucky to have known.

  138. Debbie,
I pray for God’s sustaining grace to be very evident as you grieve your beautiful friend and daughter. When grief strikes so close to our soul and we cannot pray for ourselves, I believe the Holy Spirit, and those who care for us, intercede on our behalf. You will have my faithful prayers.

  139. Mark & Family

When my brother (Cole) passed away about four weeks ago, one of his friends shared a poem that they had written. I have found comfort in this poem and would like to share it with you.

    Kisses to Heaven

Today I sent a kiss to Heaven
I am encouraging all of you to try
For if I shared this with you
You have had a loved one die

This kiss came from deep down inside and I know it was truly received, right after I sent my kiss a calming breeze surrounded me

Not only that wind, a wind chime rang From where I do not know But, I felt my loved one smile at me And say that they loved me

Take your kiss within your hands
And look up into the sky
Release that kiss with loving care
Now please try not to cry

Once your kiss is sent off
    To Heaven’s Gate above
Just look for any single sign
    Of your precious love

I felt my kiss returned to me
And yours will do the same
It might not be from breezes or chimes
But in the trees, sun, or rain

Now smile up to your loved one
    in the clouds way above
    But most important tell
Your loved one that they are always loved.

My prayers and thoughts are with you!!!!

    Love,
    Alana

  140. Alan and Debbie,

  157. Debbie,
I have had Ashley on my mind this past week for some reason and I felt compelled to send this condolence- I had only known Ashley for a short time and in that time she had helped me overcome some things that even she did not know about, she was and always will be a bright shining star in everyone’s eyes and hearts that she touched. She had a way of making you feel like you were the most special person in the world while you were sitting in her chair. I am so sorry for your family’s loss but god sure did gain a wonderful person!! Someone once told me that God would never put on you more than you can handle. I truly believe in that phrase. Please keep it close to your heart and remember that Ashley would not have wanted you to mourn her death but to be happy that she is flying high in the heavens!! I like to believe that she is up there fixing everyone’s hair!!
    Love, Tracy Keenan

  159. I taught Ashley at Oakley Elementary School and I can still remember her bright smile. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

  160. Dear Family and Friends, Ashley Raymer was a special lady. I started going to Ashley for haircuts after my hair grew back from chemo. I showed her a lock of my original hair and she assured me she could color it back the way it was before chemo. She did just that, and gave me back my self esteem and dignity. She was always eager to hear of what God was doing in my life. I am so happy she knew the Lord as her saviour. She also cut my husband’s hair at a discount because he is a pastor. What a blessing she was to us. May God sustain you all. We will see her again one day. Rita Phillips

  161. Mark and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you, Ashley was a wonderful person and blessed so many people, she will be greatly missed. May the Lord carry you through your time of need.

  162. To the family of Ashley,
No words could ever express my deepest sympathy to you for the sudden loss of such a beautiful friend and teacher. Her ability to reflect the love for her profession definately will be missed by not only her clients, but her AVEDA family as well. My deepest thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

  163. To Know Ashely was to love her;
    Each meeting brought unexpected joy
    and contagious laughter…
The lifes of each person that she touched,
Are all richer and more colorful.
Those who were fortunate enough to
    see her radiant smile
Will always be blessed with the reminiscence of it.
Her inward beauty shone just as brightly as her outward.
Ashley was and always will be
a treasure to all who were truly
    blessed to know her.

  166. Mark, Debbie, Alan, D.J., Nancy, Mike, Beth
We have known some of you a long time, we are still in shock, wishing this were just a bad dream. Ashley was such a beautiful, talented woman, Heaven sure got a special ANGEL. Ashely used to speak everytime I saw her of what a good meals I could fix, and how Don Jills dad reminded her so much of her own dad. Ashley loved Mark very much she told us that many times, she was always a helper with anything or anyone who needed her, she taught Jill so much and she will never be replaced. Wishing all the family love, support of GOD and sympathy. We are praying for all of you. Love and prayers, Gail and Don Trantham (Jill and Donna,s Parents)

  167. Ashley was a wonderfully talented, smart, passionate, beautiful and vivacious young woman and she will be truly missed by the many people whose lives she touched. 169. For MARK J. RAYMER:
Mark, Ashley’s death is an unfathomable tragedy that has affected several of your friends and former co-workers. I regret that I am unable to be there for you during this terrible time of grief. You, more than I, are a man of faith. While your faith may be sorely tested, it is there to give strength. It will take time. God bless you, dear friend. I will be in touch soon. Kevin McKee

  170. God saw she was truely hurt and a cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around her and whispered come with me.
With tear filled eyes, we watched her quickly fade away.
A golden heart stopped young, tender hands at rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best.
You’ll always be in our memeroies Tammy Mckinney and Casey Pressley

  171. To Ashley’s Family,

  173. Victoria and I are deeply shocked and saddened by the loss of Ashley. We will miss her very much. Please accept our heartfelt condolences and sympathy.

  174. If Tears could build a stairway
    and memories were a lane,
I would walk right up to Heaven
    And bring you back again.

    No Farewell words were spoken
    No time to say Good-Bye,
You were gone before I knew it
    And only God knows why.

My heart still aches in sadness,
    And secret tears still flow,
What it ment to lose you,
    No one will ever know.

But now I know you want me
To mourn for you no more,
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store.

    Since you’ll never be forgotten,
    I pledge to you today
A hallowed place with my heart
    Is where you’ll always stay.

  175. Mark,
I am so sorry for your loss. I don’t begin to know how you feel. I want to let you know I hurt for you and the family. Sometimes it seems God gives us more than we can stand. But he has a reason for everything he does. I can’t understand the reason my house burned. Life goes on even when you are hurting.
If you need anything at all just let me know. Ken and I think the world of you. God bless.
    Love, Alline and Ken
