  5. Ron,

It is a pleasure to have met you and your family, and we will miss Arlene and her sweet notes and neat hand writing. We recently received a card from her less than a week before her passing, and still have the card on our bookshelves. I know you will miss her, but she is with your children, and what a reunion that will be. The picture sure reminds us of Karen. We plan to be there for the memorial service at Lakey Gap church, where we look forward to seeing you again.

    Love,
    Mike and Judy

  12. Ron:
I met you all when I was married to Jim Gaddy – those many years ago – and we were doing your pest control/handyman work – while I was going thru my awful divorce, Arlene was such a person for me to call and lean on – she was wise, loved the Lord, was kind – and always was so helpful in our phone converations, when my heart was so broken. This week I saw her death announcement, and was so sad. Many times I drove thru Fairview for various reasons – and thought so fondly of you two – and what wonderful people you two were and how you all touched my life. I live in East Asheville w/ my 85 year old mom – am happier than I have ever been – and am so, so sorry for your loss – what a blessing this woman was ! !
