Arden - Albert A. Mullinax, 50, of Sleepy Gap Road, died Friday, January 28, 2000. A native of Buncombe County he was a son of Frances Alexander Mullinax Ducker of Arden. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul J. and Lillie Mae Alexander. He was an Army veteran of Vietnam and was a carpenter. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Linda Jones Mullinax; son, Alexander J. “Tooter” Mullinax of the home; three step-children, Suzie Sanders and her husband Bobby of Arden, Becky Queen of Hendersonville and Bryan Queen of Arden; three sisters, Brenda Bledsoe and Beverly Haynes of Arden, Donna Hart of Fletcher; a brother, Robert Ducker of Arden and seven grandchildren, Stephen Sanders, Andrew Sanders, Aaron Sanders, Sarah Sanders, Noah Burgess, Brie Burgess and Thomas Woodruff. A graveside service will be held Monday at 11 am at Avery’s Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Donald Hare. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:30 pm Sunday at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian.

Albert it has been several years now since you went home,there is so many things I wanna say,I remember in the hospital the day before you went on you said that ‘I’ was gonna be your daughter inlaw and here we are been together ever since then & married for 8 yrs,you would be so proud of Tooter he is a awesome Father and Husband…We miss you so much..I wish everyday you could of met Hannah and Matthew,Lil Hannah Grace looks just like you and her Daddy…she talks about you all the time and can’t wait to meet you…can’t wait to see you again…see you soon…Tooter,Renee,Hannah and Matthew Mullinax<3
