Jesse Carter Clark, Jr., 84, died on Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at the John F. Keever Hospice Solace Center. A native of Buncombe Co., he was a son of the late Jesse Carter Clark, Sr., and Hattie Henson Clark. Mr. Clark had retired from American Enka/BASF, where he worked as a printer. He was a member of Montmorenci United Methodist Church. Mr. Clark is survived by his wife, Fay Sease Clark, and son, Justin Clark. A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Frank Gordon officiating. His family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, his family asks that memorials be made to Montmorenci United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 610, Candler, NC 28715. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.

  2. Faye and Justin, you are in our thoughts and prayers on this difficult and sad day. Thinking back, the Sextons and Clarks have known each other for 40 years! We will miss Mr. Clark, always friendly and welcoming, and I don’t think we’ll ever pass the ‘big brick house on the corner’ without thinking of him. God’s blessing and comfort to you both.
