I’m so sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. We send our sincerest sympathy to you all. He must have been a wonderful man to raise such sweet girls! May our Father in heaven comfort you as only he can.

  3. Joyce and Sandy,
I am so sorry to hear about Doc. I lost my Dad on the 22nd. I wish there was somthing that I could do to help but I know all that I can do is to keep you in my prayers.

    I love you both, Loretta

  4. We will really miss Dock. Everyone loved Dock and he tried to help everybody he could. He and his family have been so good to us since we first moved to Fairview over 35 years ago. He always seemed to have a good attitude and his infectious enthusiasm was an inspiration to all. We will never forget the jokes and stories he would tell us.

We will miss Dock so much on the farm. He was a hard worker who knew how to get things done. But most importantly, he would try to help others almost to the detriment of him personally. There will never be another Dock Dills in our community. Fairview will never be the same.

His unselfish life was a testimony of God’s love and his faith in Jesus Christ. We have so many good memories of Dock and his family. They helped make Wilson Rd. one of the best places we could have ever lived.

  5. I was so sad to hear of Dock’s passing. He will always stand out as one of those that I remember most from my ministry at Fairview. He was truly a man of God and was an example of that in each phase of his life. His family has much to be proud of. I will continue to keep Dot and the family in my prayers.

    God Bless You,
    Connie Weeks

  6. Some of the best years of my life were those spent with the Dill family. My prayers and thoughts are with each of you. It has been a real privilege to know your family and the christian life that you have lived. May God bless each of you.

  7. Dock was a great neighbor to us for the 20 years we lived on Garren Lane in Fairview. We are sad to learn of his death at such a young age. Dock was a good man. He will be sorely missed.

  8. Sandy and Kevin,
We were sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. Know you and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

    God Bless You

    Cliff and Cathy Piercy

  9. Joyce, Tim, Sandy, Kevin, Mrs. Dills, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren,
It was with sorrow that I read of Mr. Dills passing. I know that he will be greatly missed in the Fairview community. He and Mrs. Dills reared two wonderful girls, that were very dear to me, and they married two fine young men, that were special to me too, and then they sent some beautiful young people (second generation) to Reynolds for me to have the privilege of working with. What good memories I have of the Dill’s, Penland’s, and Downey’s.
Please know that I am with you in love and prayers and wishing you
comfort and strength in your time of need.
    Love in Christ,
    Jake

  10. Our thoughts are with the family.
May God Bless you and hold you at his side during this most difficult time…
    Rick,Melody & Josh Burleson

  11. We send our sincere sympathy to the family and our prayers are for God to hold you in His arms and comfort you through this sad time. Joy comes from knowing Dock is with Jesus right now. Praise Him!

We ‘grew up’ with Dock and will certainly miss him when we return to Fairview.
