Marjorie Laughter

Marjorie Laughter, 90, of Fairview, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at the Laurels of GreenTree Ridge. Mrs. Laughter was born September 13, 1922, and was a daughter of the late Henry and Dolly Tipton of Black Mountain. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray Laughter, and also by a brother. Her family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue. A private service will follow at Cane Creek Cemetery. The family extends their thanks to GreenTree's staff for the loving care she received, and for allowing her to help staff and patients. It was rewarding for her to be able to serve others.
