I am so sorry to hear about your Mom’s death. That special lady will live on in the character of her wonderful caring children.
One nice thought to ponder: YOur Mom is longer suffering and now she can embrace her husband.
There is a web site that deals with the 10 stages of grief. I have found it very comforting. I hope you can google it and read over the material.

    Anna

  13. What an awesome woman your mom has been in her life. I’m so glad she was an influence in mine. Enka Baptist will never be the same now that Ann and Sadie are both gone! Can you imagine the reunion in heaven with Clyde and Ann…and Sadie and Fred? Ha! What a fun place to be! They are all ‘jumping stumps’ together today…and Jesus is laughing with them! Just know you are loved and many thoughts and prayers are with you!
    Love,
    Mary and Bob and family

  14. When we were young, I remember the fun we had sleeping over at your Mom’s. The house was wonderfully warm and welcoming and way back in the woods, like a secret place to play. I made my very first batch of brownies in your kitchen; and your daddy gave me my first sip of real milk, warm and fresh from your cow…happy memories that will live in my heart always. My thoughts and prayers are with your family through this sad time. May God give you peace. Love, Linda

  15. Brooke: I have thought about you a
lot during these days. I certainly
do admire your determination to be
so brave with your grief. My prayers are with you and all of your
family. Ofter words are empty when
we have so much pain…but with our
faith and love of the Lord, we are
able to know that there is peace.
    With love and prayers….Bessie and
all of your third period ‘kids’
