Jane Graham, 81, moved into the glorious presence of the Lord on Sunday September 18, 2011.
Born in Chicago, IL, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth R. and Alice Arns Larson. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Roy Larson, Jr.
Mrs. Graham was a homemaker and a member of Covenant Reformed Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Robert W. Graham, Sr.; two sons, Jonathan B. Graham of Florence, SC; and Robert "Bob" W. Graham, Jr. of Black Mountain daughters, Trudy Guthrie and her husband, Rick of Asheville, and Patricia J. Palaio and her husband, Jack of Perry, FL; grandchildren, Nathan Guthrie, Stephanie G. Cobaugh, Jon Graham, Leigh Graham, David Graham and Tommy Palaio; sisters, Janet L. Engelbrecht of Santa Maria, CA and JoAnn Griesser of Scottsdale, AZ.
Her Homegoing Service will be held Wednesday, September 21, at 10 AM at Trinity Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 until 9 PM at Groce Funeral Home, Tunnel Road.
Interment will be at the WNC State Veterans Cemetery.

We are saddened by Jane’s homegoing but rejoice in the sure knowledge that she finished well her sojourn on earth and is enjoying her reward.
May the God of all comfort be your strength and shield as you continue to be held by His everlasting arms. The sweet memories of Jane will live on in our hearts and we thank God for the privilege of knowing such an amazing woman. Bob, Jane and you have for many years been an inspiration to us and we pray that ‘as your days, so shall your strength be’ in the days ahead. ‘Precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of His saints’…May you know the peace of God as you rejoice in Jane’s beautiful life and testimony knowing she is with Him. We pray our Lord’s comfort for Bob and the family in their time of grief. Thinking of Jane always brings a smile to our faces. We will remember her wit and feisty spirit. We were blessed to have known her.
Bob and all the rest of your family – Trudy,Pat, Jon,Skip, all the grandchildren. You know what a special person Jane was and she was and will always be remembered by us as special. You both wrapped us in your loving compassionate arms and we hold you dear and thank you. Jane will be missed so much, but we think of the joyous surroundings she is wrapped in this day. We uphold all of you in prayer and love.
