  1. What a wonderful privilege it was to have known Mahdeen & studied under her for a time. I will never forget her beautiful playing & her long perserverance & patience with each of us. She was such a marvelous teacher and precious, precious lady.

  2. Anyone who knew Mahdeen knows what a gentle, loving, and caring person she was. No words can express what she meant to me as a great, long-time friend; but also as a friend and piano teacher to me, my children and grandchildren. She lived an inspiring life and touched many through her walk with Jesus and as a musician. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jimmy and Bob. She and her beautiful music will be greatly missed!

  3. Mahdeen was such a sweet and pleasant lady. I always enjoyed our times together and will miss her and our frequent lunches. My life is blessed by knowing her and I am proud to call her my friend.

  4. Mahdeen was more than an inspiration in my life. She was my God Mother, Sunday School teacher, and a great friend. As I reflect on the times we spent together, it was always filled with laughter, joy, and love. We even shared several birthday parties together because our birthdays were just a few hours apart. Mahdeen will be missed, but only for a while until i see her sweet face in Heaven again. May your body rest in peace, and your soul ascend up to Glory Land. Much Love to my precious God Mother.

  5. Ms. McCoy was my and my sister’s piano teacher when we were children. I still remember many wonderful things about her 45 years later. I know she has inspired many people with her teachings. Prayers are being lifted up for the family.
