Clara Mae Clarke

Clara Mae Clarke, 79, of 15 Motts Drive, Candler, died Wednesday, March 20, 2002, in an Asheville hospital. Mrs. Clarke was born in Baltimore, MD and was a former resident of Manassas, VA before moving to Buncombe County four years ago. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ray Clarke. She is survived by two daughters, Anne Clarke of Rockmart, GA and Pat Fugate of Tempe, AZ; two sons, Ray Clarke and his wife Allyn of Candler and Jim Clarke of Fairfax, VA; one brother, George Bucheimer of Rockville, MD; eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be in Falls Church, VA under the direction Murphy Funeral Home.
