  1. Dear Mr. Henry & Ms. Werhan,

It has been an honor to witness and (on behalf of her direct care staff) to care for Ms. Henry in her final days. She was uncommonly pleasant, even in light of her physical decline.

The dedication and devotion always showed her will long be remembered by all who were privileged to see you walking the halls, wiping a lip, sharing a smile…, and are a fine testimonial to the sacred nature of familial love. Undoubtedly, your actions mirror the love she shared with you over your lifetimes.

Surely you will miss her greatly. I hope knowing you will be reuinted ‘in glory’ will lessen your current grief and give way to sweet and comforting memories of happier times.

    Sincerely,
    Eileen Kaplan

  3. Pat, I remembered on the way home last week that Nanny was the one who found ‘Tony Rolls’. Things will never be the same without her, but I think that she’s home and happy now. Give my love to Paw-Paw and all.
