  4. As I was looking up another person I discovered that Lewis had died. I am so very sorry that I did not know and did not attend his service. My aunt passed away and was buried Saturday, but perhaps if I had known I could have at least come by. I loved to talk to Lewis, even with his gruff exterior and his blunt way with words, he was always interesting to talk with. He would stop by my office on occassion and of course Republican Politics was the topic. I also always told him that he was the best dressed man in Asheville. Please accept my condolences. Lewis was a memorable person.

  6. Lewis,Patti,and Susan,

  7. I am sorry to hear of Mr. Clay’s passing. I am a former renter of his, and although he was not a close friend, I found him to be very honest and professional in my dealings with him. I got to know him some during a very difficult period in my life, and I appreciate the help he gave me during that time. My sincere condolences to the family. Jim Miller
