Elva Case Smith Danzey, 84, of 95 Richmond Hill Road, Asheville, died Monday, February 25, 2002.
Mrs. Danzey was born in Asheville and was a daughter of the late Sidney L. and Lillie Gaddy Case. She was married to Buford R. Danzey who died in 1986.
She is survived by three step-children and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be at 4:00 Thursday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Houston officiating.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

I will miss Elva I rember when she lived at Battery Park apts I loved to talk with her and listen to her tell me of her child herdays .I also have the copy of the book she wrote she was an interesting person I will always love her very much.God Bless her family we love you
