Ruth M. Moore, 85, of Fort Smith, AR, died Tuesday, May 24, 2011 in a Fort Smith nursing home.
She was born May 5, 1926 in Canton. She was the widow of Earl L. Moore. She was a homemaker and attended the White Rock Baptist Church in Candler. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Thomas L. Moore of Candler, and Steve A. Moore of Crosby, TX.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at the Groce Funeral Home chapel on Patton Ave. with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday night at the funeral home.
She is survived by one son, Bobby W. Moore and his wife Nemia, of Fort Smith; two daughters-in-law, Wanda Moore, of Candler, and Kathy Moore, of Crosby, TX; five grandchildren, Christina Moore, of Bluffton, SC, Cindy Moore, of Washington, D.C., Shane Moore, of Candler, Michele Hensley, of Asheville, and Eddie Moore, of Crosby; and seven great-grandchildren.
