Asheville Butterfly TrailMrs. Laflin was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late James Henry and Maude Ingram Arrowood and the wife of the late Thomas Elmer Laflin. She was a member of Sunrise Baptist Church, Dorcas Sunday School Class, WMU, and the Sunrisers.
She is survived by her son Harold F. Laflin and his wife Taunia Laflin, and two grandchildren, Travis and Holly Laflin all of Asheville; several nieces and nephews, including Don and Laurella Billman of Coshocton, Ohio.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Monday at Sunrise Baptist Church with the Revs. Bill Higgins and Stacey Hinson officiating. Burial will be at Pisgah View Memorial Park.
Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Sunday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
