Swannanoa ~ Nellie Mackey West, 94, of Wilson Avenue, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2011.
She was born in Pisgah Forest and was the daughter of the late Robert and Ella Scruggs Mackey and was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, April 2 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Candler.
Groce Funeral Home East Asheville on Tunnel Road is in charge of arrangements.
