Asheville Butterfly TrailA native of Buncombe County, She was a daughter of the late Ernest and Ethel Collins Arrington. She was also preceded in death by her husband James Aaron Clark; sisters, Dorothy Banks, Ellen McElrath, Ruth Penley and a brother Leroy Arrington. She was a former employee of Akzona and a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Her survivors include her daughter and son, Judith Lucille Kelley and Jerald Aaron Clark and his wife Ann, all of Candler; sister, Irene Riddle of Swannanoa; brothers, Claude Arrington of Rockford, IL, Fred Arrington of Candler; half sisters, Mildred Rogers, Katherine Medlested, Virginia Odette and Wilma Roach; grandchildren, Laura Lantz, Melissa Norton, Jamie Clark Kelley, Janice Kelley, Kristi Ducker; and great-grandchildren, Timmy, Tamara, Jessica, Alyssa, Aaron and Kandall.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Patton Avenue Chapel of Groce Funeral Home with burial following in Hice Hill Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends 7-8:30 Monday at the funeral home.
