LOIS WORLEY LANE
CANDLER - Lois Worley Lane, 97, of Leicester, died on February 28, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her parents Carlos and Hannah Rogers Worley, her husband Eugene Lane, four brothers and 2 sisters.
She is survived by three sons, Mark of Leicester, James of Swannanoa, and Paul of Candler. She is also the grandmother of 8, great grandmother of 3 and great-great grandmother of 5.
The funeral service for Mrs. Lane will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Union Baptist Church, where she was a member, immediately following the service.
The family would also like to express their gratitude to the staff at Pisgah Manor for the care and consideration extended to Mrs. Lane and her family.
