Fletcher~ Dewey David Owenby,91, of 223 Williams Road died Saturday, May 26, 2001 at his residence.
A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of the late Bud and Susan Hill Owenby and the husband of the late Lela Owenby. Mr. Owenby worked as a farmer.
He is survived by his son; Robert Owenby and his wife Shirley and a granddaughter, Anita Owenby.
Graveside services will be held 11:00am Tuesday, May 29 at Tweed’s Chapel Cemetery with the Reverend Don Welborn officiating.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00-8:30pm at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian.
