Hector George Baumann

A native of Jeffersonville, Indiana, he was the son of the late George and Catherine Baumann. A resident of Asheville most of his adult life, he retired as Production Manager from the Spinalator Company after 40 years of service. Mr. Baumann was a U.S. Navy veteran of WW II serving in the Pacific Theatre.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Roberta Baumann, who died in 1963.

He is survived by two daughters, Catherine Hyatt and husband Michael, Deborah Truempy and husband Gregory, and a granddaughter Dana Truempy, all of Asheville; and his sister Thelma Boyce of Clarksville, Indiana.

A memorial service will be 4:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Patton Avenue Chapel of Groce Funeral Home.
