Arthur P. Fox Jr., 64, of Asheville, died Friday, March 16, 2001 in a local nursing facility.

A native of Buncombe County, he was a son of the late Arthur P. and Nina Hensley Fox. He was also preceded in death by his wife Mary Kirkendall Fox. He was a retired truck driver and a US Army Veteran of Vietnam.

His survivors include a daughter, Pam Fox of Asheville; sons, Rick D. Fox of Forest City, Tim Fox of Asheville; sister, Jean Caudle of Asheville; brother, Bruce Fox of Asheville and seven grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Gashes Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Buncombe County Volunteer Memorial Team.

His family will receive friends 7-8:30 Tuesday at Groce Funeral Home, Patton Avenue.
