Willa Sampson Duncan, 85, of Leicester, died Wednesday, December 27, 2000 in a Fairview
nursing facility.
A native of Cherokee County, she was a life long resident of Leicester and was the daughter of the
late Thomas D. and Emma Shook Sampson. She was also preceded in death by her husband Everett Duncan. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist
Church.
She is survived by her sons, Cecil and Jerry Duncan both of Leicester; brothers, T.J. Sampson of Leicester, Vernon Sampson of North Kingston, RI; and three grandchildren, including Cecilia Owens.
Her familywill receive friends 11-12:00 Saturday at Pinnacleview Bapitst Church followed by a
graveside service at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. At other times the family will be at the home of the granddaughter Cecilia Owens.
