Sue Edna Carson

Mrs. Carson was a native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County and was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Hattie Mills Harris and was the wife of the late J. Floyd Carson who died in 1974. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

Surviving is a daughter Jessie Sales and her husband Henry of Fairview; two granddaughters, Sheila Rhody and Teresa Sales-Anderson; four great-grandchildren and a sister, Lula West of Jupiter, Florida.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Sharon Cemetery conducted by Reverend Ray Woodby.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 pm Monday at the funeral home.
