Lottie Jo Anderson
Hendersonville, NC – Lottie Jo Anderson, formerly Lottie Jo Colvin, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2010 as quietly and peacefully as she lived. She left us all with the same love and peace that she carried in her heart and shared throughout her life. We are so blessed to have the cherished memories of such a selfless lady. She dedicated her entire life to her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Kate Colvin and by two brothers, Roy and J.C. Colvin and a sister, Evelyn Colvin Haggard.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Lynwood Anderson; three sons, Charles Arendale, Chuck Anderson and his wife, Denise, and Rickey Anderson and his wife, Dee; a daughter, Jodie Hamrick and her husband, Ben; grandchildren, Evita and Tanya Arendale, Calli and Coleman Hamrick, Jessie Anderson and Carson Anderson; a brother, Leonard Colvin and his wife, JoAnn; a sister, Gertrude Brown and her husband, Reed; and numerous nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
The family would like to thank all of the staff at Carillon Assisted Living for all of the love and care that was shown during her last days. Also, many thanks to CarePartners Hospice for all of the care they took in making sure her journey was comfortable and pain free.
Graveside services will be on Friday, November 19 at 11:00 am at Piney Mountain United Methodist Church in Candler, NC conducted by the Reverend Gerald Davis.

We were so sad to hear about the passing of Lottie. She was an amazing person who brought happiness to everyone who knew her. We will keep all of you in our prayers.
I cannot put into words how heartbroken I was when I was told that Lottie had passed away. I loved her so much. She took me and my son in and loved us like we were her own. She never judged me. She loved unconditionally. Although life took us down different paths,she held a place in my heart always. I will never forget her. I was so blessed to have known this incredible women.
