Asheville Butterfly TrailA native of Los Angeles, he was the son of Charline Montieth Glenn of Mars Hill and Buddie L. McCart, Sr. of Oakhurst, Calif. Mr. McCart was a former employee of IWANNA, Inc.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sons, Austin McCart, 10, Tyler McCart, 8, Dylan McCart, 6, and his former wife, Deborah Corn McCart, all of Asheville; three sisters, Roni Daniels of Porterville, Calif., Tarisse Hickson of Branson, Missouri, Autumn Glenn of Mars Hill; a brother, Malloy Glenn of Mars Hill and his maternal grandmother, Christine Smith of Mars Hill.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am Thursday at Green Hills Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Ed Graham.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 pm Wednesday at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian.

I met Buddy when he delivered the Iwanna paper to a Texaco convenience store where I work. He was always smiling and seemed so happy. He brightened the day for many people. His smile will be missed by many and he will not be forgotten.
