Asheville Butterfly TrailMrs. Israel was preceded in death by her father, Parley Lee Clark, her mother, Lucinda Maude Shipley Clark, two brothers, Albert Lee Clark and Alvin Hugh Clark, and one sister, Alene Fowler. She was retired after 32 years at A&P Supermarkets and was a member of New Morgan Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Frank R. Israel; one daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and J.C. Tweed of Candler; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Nannette Israel of Williamsburg, Michigan; three sisters, Lois Sprinkle of Candler, Margie Gray of Asheville, and Vera Price of Melvindale, Michigan; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Sunday in the Patton Avenune chapel of Groce FuneralHome with the Revs. Charles Sprinkle, Roy Houston, and Hubert Price officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Saturday at the funeral home.

Though we are far apart, my thoughts are with you and I
pray for peace in your hearts during this time. I have not
seen many of her family in a long time, but you have my love
and I know we will all miss Lucille.
