Jeremy was born in Buncombe County and was employed as a landscaper. His passions in life were his friends and family and he lived each day to the fullest. He was a son of the late Jane Fisher Hyatt.
Surviving are his father, Michael Ray Hyatt; a sister, Kristy Michelle Middleton, her husband John, and their children Garrett and Hannah; his maternal grandfather, Samuel Fisher; and his girlfriend, Kendra Norton.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Wednesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack W. Collins officiating. Burial will be at Pisgah View Memorial Park.
His family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Tuesday at the funeral home and at other times will be at 27 Tipton Drive, Candler.
I sincerely hope that knowing we’re thinking of you and praying for you will help a little during these hard, hard days. Condolences and peace to you.

I hope somebody recieves this message but, my name is Chris Fisher and Jeremy and I was close friends during 1997. The following year I entered the Military and we went are ways. But the times we spent together can’t be erased. I can’t believe this happend to Jeremy. My location is now Kosovo for the next six months then I’m coming home for vacation. My sympathies go out to the family. I’m so sorry.
Jeremy was such a wonderful person. I always remember him being so funny and nice to everyone. I am so sorry for your loss. You have all been in my prayers.
My thought are still with all who read this, and those who don’t. Jeremy was a great guy and a great friend. He will be missed by many. He will forever be in my heart. I love you Jeremy.

Jeremy was the one who always made you laugh…he knew what to say to bring your spirits up when you were down…he was always there for you…he was ‘precious’ to all that knew him… He was loved by so many…Losing him was the hardest thing that I have ever had to go through and I think of him each and everyday…My prayers are with Mr. Hyatt, Christy and John and family… We love you Jeremy..
