John A. Forrest

John A. Forrest, 61, of Case Rd., Asheville, died Friday, February 18, 2000 at his residence. Mr. Forrest was a native of Philadelphia, PA and was a son of the late John E. and Helen Eisentrager Forrest. He was a member of the Sweetwater Volunteer Fire Company, Holy Name Society and St. Barnabas Catholic Church. Surviving is his wife Mary R. Forrest; one daughter, Jennifer M. Forrest of McAllen, TX; three sons, Kenneth J. Forrest, Stephen J. Forrest both of Asheville and John M. Forrest of Marlton, NJ; two sisters Marian Eichhorn of Rockport, TX; and Virginia Moore of Haddonfield, NJ; and five grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11:00 am Monday, at St. Barnabas Catholic Church with Father Roger Arnsparger officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church. Interment will be in Shepherd Memorial Park in Hendersonville.
