Please accept my deepest sympathy in the passing of our loved one Mildred.
I remember how beautifully she dressed and her lovely voice at West Asheville Baptist.
Also I remember seeing her at Aunt Naomi’s when we would visit on Sunday afternoon.
May the soul of the faithful departed rest in peace.
My sympathy goes out to Mildred’s family.
I remember Mildred as a kind and lovely person.
She will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Cooper was a good friend to my grandparents. Just the other day I received a card from her for a wedding gift. While we will miss her on Earth, the Heavenly choir has gained a beautiful angel.
I WAS HONORED TO MEET MICKEY IN 1995. SHE WAS ONE OF A KIND. EVEN THOUGH I MEET HER THROUGH HER BUSINESS WE BECAME FRIENDS OVER THE YEARS. I WILL MISS HER. IN KNOWING HER I MET STAN AND EVELYN RIDDLE. THEY ARE VERY SPECIAL PEOPLE TOO. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH STAN AND EVELYN AND MICKIE’S SISTER MABEL ALONG WITH THEIR FAMILYS.
Oh Mickey, so MANY memories, of you & Wayne & your whole family! You will surely be missed! Mother wants to come up, but her health is very bad & there is no way, so we won’t get to be there in person, but we will be in our hearts! We will miss you terribly!

Growing up, Mickey and Wayne seemed like part of the family. Mickey sang at out wedding. It would have seemed strange not to see them at church and in the choir. Going out to eat with them was so much fun. They were always happy! There are so many wonderful memories!
