Sam was a very special cousin to me. He and I enjoyed alot of things together as children and later on in life, Sam was a big support during some trying times in my life. He was one of the best cooks that the Todd family produced and he dearly loved to do so. We will miss you Sam. There will always be a void that only the Lord can fill. Sam will be there with the rest of our family to welcome each of us home. Family, know that our hearts go out to each of you. Leigh Ann and Joey, just look to the Lord to help you through this time. You and the whole family are in our prayers.
My dear Christian brothers and sisters,
I am so sorry for your loss of Sam. It seems that his Graduation from life came very close after his diagnosis. It is little comfort to realize that he didn’t have long to suffer, and that he is now free of pain and disease. The hole in your heart feels as though it will consume you now. However, he would want you to remember that we will all meet again in our Glorified bodies. Stand fast in the faith that has sustained you in the past, and Our Father will sustain you now.
I am a friend of Leigh Anne. It is very hard to lose a family member and my heart goes out to the entire family. Sincerely, Donna Atkins
Dear Broadus and Lillian, Sorry to hear of Sam’s passing. Please know that we are praying for you and your family. We love you.
Charles & Debbie
Goodbye, Sam, you will always be loved and missed by those you leave behind but you are free from pain and suffering now, and you will be celebrating Father’s Day with your Heavenly Father!
My heart felt sympathy goes out to your family. My father, Ray Jackson, was one of Sam’s golfing buddies. He went home to be with the Lord two years ago. During the time of his passing, Sam was so good to us. He was the first one there to prepare a meal for us. He told us after the funeral he hoped there was some good golf coarses in heaven.
Our thoughts and prayers will be with you during the coming days. Let your memories comfort you.

To the precious parents and family of Sammy Taylor. How I remember him so well when he dated a friend of mine. I thought he was the most gorgeous guy I had ever seen. One day we all will see Sammy again and I am so thankful for that.
I will be praying for Sammy’s parents and family during this sad time..
My love to all,
Dianne Burleson Phillips
I will always remember you Sammy. We were friends, not only cousins. We had good times growing up and in High School.
I lost contact when you moved to SC, but I asked Carolyn about you numerous times. I will never forget the Jr-Sr Prom when you danced with me. It made a lot of girls jealous. I loved you so much.
I am so glad I got to see you last year at the reunion.
I know you are in a better place with our Lord.
Aunt Lillian and Uncle Broadus and family, my love and sympathy are with you. I know how it is to lose a son. It leaves a big hole in your heart, but rest assured that Sam is resting in the arms of our Lord Jesus.
Leigh Anne,
So sorry for your loss. Your father was surely a remarkable man to have such a wonderful daughter! My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Hey Brother, Today was Thanksgiving. Although I wasn’t at Pat’s, we all missed you. You turkey, potatoe salad, mac&cheese, and the big chocolate cake we would all fight over to take home,if there happened to be a peice of it left. Sam, the other night I could,t go to sleep, but was laying in bed trying to rest my eyes. Suddenly I heard you call me as plain as day, With that gruff voice of yours ‘Carolyn, Come here’. It was so real, that I raised up, to see if I could see you. Our Family will never be the same without you. So glad I could be there for you, when I could, Sorry I couldn’t be there for you when God was calling you home. But I know you had a great Thanksgiving today. Did God call on you to do the cooking? Bet He did. I love you Brother and miss you so much. Thanks for the memories. Your Sister, Carolyn
